For the weary and hungry beach walker, Bistro on the Beach is a welcome sight. If you've decided to walk from Bournemouth or Boscombe beach to Southbourne beach to see Hengistbury Head, then you'll be ready for at least a drink, if not something more filling. Even if you've driven there - who says no to some decent food?
Fisherman's Walk at Southbourne and Hengistbury Head are two of only four places nearby where your pooch is allowed in the height of summer, so this makes the bistro even more welcoming. The staff will make a fuss of your pooch and give them a well deserved treat.
The food is of a very good standard, with plenty of choice available, and the service friendly and efficient.
